Restatement of guidelines for submission of Assignment (from Pages on Assignment)

These guidelines were lifted from the Pages on Assignments for Regis and MM Leadership. List of Assignments Obviously, they were not noticed or read observed by the past and present class, hence, difficulties in submission of assignments occurred

I am reposting these out of pages for attention and focus:

ASSIGNMENT SUBMISSION

Except for the learning agreement, all submission shall be on line at this blog.

Guidelines:

1.  You will send your assignments in the length and complying with the contents specified not beyond the deadlines via a blog send method. ie, type the contents of your assignment on the email page, or copy paste the assignment on the email page and send this to profjorge.entep.jermits@blogger.com

2. Please note that this is a blogger email address thus:

       1. You have to id your paper otherwise, your paper becomes anonymous; the blogger email does not identify              the sender

       2. You can not have an attachment sent. none will appear.

3.  Please follow this titling procedure:

     1.  Type say   Regis Cebu Leadership (or Sta Rosa as the case maybe)

     2. Your full name, preceded by the title Leader

     3.  Identify the paper as:

        Enneagram

       Genogram

       Movie synopsis of ________________(title of movie), JCampbell Monomyth and My Life Story

       Reflection Paper 1   -  Defining Moments

       Reflection Paper 2  -  External and Internal Factors That Shaped Me

       Reflection Paper 3 -  My Passion

You have many papers posted at this site which you can benchmark to make your paper.  Consult and refer to these papers so that you will attain the grade you want to get.  You may get disappointed if your paper is not posted/published because it is substandard.  The class wants you observe magis to be more

If you fail to follow this, your paper may get lost, because we will find difficulty in locating its file in the archive.
N.B.   USE THE CORRECt BLOGGER EMAIL ADDRESS!

The reflection paper may be in word or powerpoint.  If in power point, upload to a Slideshare account and send using the blog send email address,profjorge.entrep.jermits@blogger.com,  The word reflection paper may be sent in the same manner.  PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS  YOUR PAPER WILL BE GRADED IF SENT ONLY IN THE ABOVE MENTIONED MANNER!

Leadership also involves the adroitness to navigate your path under this new procedure. This is also graduate school level stuff and that means you are smart enough to understand these instructions

I saw many assignments draft at the inbox of the website.  However they can not be published:

Why are the assignments unpublished?

1.  The authors are not identified. Please be sure to write your name separately on the title or in the body of your paper;

2.  The post say there are attachment.  Please copy paste your attachment in the body of the email.

3. You used the wrong email address;  sending to this email add will not do.

About the grades.

Paper that are published but with not grade could get 2 or 2.5.  Only 3 and up papers get a published grade.  You can opt to improve your grade prior to the final deadline by improving your paper.    A late paper gets a -1

    Call to arm speeches.  Please upload copies of your speeches prior to Wednesday.  If we have time we will take up personal mastery and CAT (Critical Analytical Thinking in relation to Decision Making)

3.  Friday

    Team building, brainstorming, mind mapping

Next week shall be devoted to AVP presentations.   You must be working on them now.

   Team building.  This Lecturer assigned the following to conduct/lead the team building at lunch last Friday:  Leaders Haidee, Shirley and Ma Fe. They will email me the format of the team building, (the plan not later than Wednesday

Why is your grade 2 or 2.5?

1.  It lacked depth of reflection .  Take note that in the syllabus it says you are to be graded on your ability to reflect and be self aware. You should be able to relate the assignment and locate/relate this in the totality of things (that which I write on the white board):  to the self, leadership journey, the things that shaped you as a person and leader, and your passion/answer to the call of leadership.

2. The reflection should cover these areas (as was written in the list of assignments:)

       1.  What was the lesson/s learned?

       2. Relationship of this learning to to what you knew/learned:

             1. Readings from HBR, Lowney, CD readings, class discussion, your other lessons learned on leadership

             2.  To the first day debate;

             3.  Other readings, teachings from your parents, other profs, and your mentors.

        3. How will you further apply these learnings (#1)

When you go back to your respective offices, many times you will have to decide/make judgement calls (or would you often consult or wait for your senior to decide)  You can only do that if you developed the habit of reflection as prescribed in this class, You can only grow as a person and/or a leader if you practice this well under a motivational situation (ie being graded)

Submitting assigments via this site and reading the assigned materials

This post encourages and enjoins student to upload their assignments via this site via blogsend  Again, the site only accepts the full contents of the  of the email.  Attachments are not posted.  Many send anonymous post, without content and are promptly deleted.  So far only 6 complied with this requirement. God bless these leaders. Their grades are annotated on their submission.  Congratulations

Furthermore, the posting of you paper enriches the experience of fellow students.  Your stories strengthens their leadership, as you share your stories.

Leadership means following, and practicing this means following correctly instructions;  in this case submission of assignments. Many understand and comply.

Leadership means you are brave enough for people to experience both your strength and weakness.  You are not to be timid with privacy and shy issues which many of us give this post as alibis.

Leadership means you are comfortable with IT tools to get your ideas across

Furthermore, this office expects the students to go over the materials sent you if you are to maximize your learning. This Lecturer took pains and effort to summarize the key points for the Class:
