Let us persist in the advocacy to have internet costs lowered and speed levelled up

Hi Leaders Engr. Cezar and VP Belle:

Thanks for getting in touch.  As we were saying in the Leadership class, as espoused by Leader Cezar, we would campaign for faster internet speed.

I have put up a site to focus on this.  It would  seem though that people do not mind.  When there was a campaign to support Sen Bam Aquinos inquiry, only 1,300 supported.  Not a soul attended his inquiry.

I have made 9 posts and very few are following or are reading this site.

There are several developments in this area.  One solution is to have peering deal between telcos in the PHL say between Globe and PLDT.  Under the peering arrangement, the local traffic can be directed between the local exchanges, without cost on either parties thus lessening costs, and faster access.  As of now, the traffic between two Telcos have to go through an international node at HK thus, increasing cost and increasing access time.

Comments are invited;   support for this call is urgently requested.  Let us give priority on this over corruption and election.

The reason why posts are made at wee hours of the morning is that that the best time to get a connection; not because this Lecturer is very passionate.  This slow internet speed. f...s like the rest of the population

This is at the tail end of an article on slow internet speed at this site.  Am reposting for emphasis:

Why is internet slow in the Philippines?

According to MVP at the ASEAN meeting in Clark, it is because Phil is an archipelago and this requires many cell sites and is threfore expensive.  (Technical experts tama ba ito?)

Today, I attended the graduation ceremonies at Irwin Theater in Ateneo Grade School compound.  Some  300 MBA graduates in Health, MM, Standard, Entrepreneurship, Regis programs received their diplomas.  One year hence, this Lecturer wish its your turn to march to the stage to receive your diplomas

The guest speaker was Senator Bam Aquino, who is an Atenean also, a Summa Cum Laude, and class valedictorian and is well known for his Hapinoy Social Entrepreneurship project.

I understand that there is a news article about him and his investigation of the very slow internet speed in the Philippines.  This was the subject of the speech of our Leader Cezar Cortez last Friday
for which I made a post today  Leader Cortez on slow internet speed in the Philippines
