A Plated Catered dinner ordered by Dr Munoz
As the Leadership class has done more than 32 hours (4 hours for the 8 session ; the class did one hour extra for the team building, and 0.5 hours extra for every session, the class and this Lecturer decided that yesterday was the last session yesterday.
The final 20 Audio Visual Presentations were made, we had dinner, the throwback of some memorable events in the class, 3 speeches from 3 Leaders (drawn by lots, ) presentation of awards, and then saying good bye. We had class pictures too.
Some commented that while this was life changing, there was a lot of work, many sleepless nights, and very stressful. Sometimes for the MD, they did nothing except the class assignments of this class. A leader commented that then he thought that Leadership could be an easy subject, but found it as demanding as Opeman. This Lecturer said it was part of his job to deliver the assigned syllabus to the class, and that was his job. Trabaho lang. This lecturer all ready said that it was a great honor to have conversed with this class. Perhaps it is a gathering of the best minds in Pampanga today. I agree that someday, if these minds delivered the speeches in Congress and and top companies, then this would be a very progressive country.
Goodbye class. Thank you again.

Prof, it was truly a night to remember! This is my 11th subject and I must say it is the best so far.
ReplyDeleteThanks too Dra. One of the best class I handled too. May we see each other again.
DeleteMay the 4's be with you! thank you prof jorge!
ReplyDeleteOnly the xls can tell that and if what were promised in the Learning agreement were faithfullly done. You are welcome Leader Charm
DeleteProf., thanks again for all the learning that we’ve gained in your Class. This is my first Subject in the Program and it really sets the bar high; it’s probably hard to top. Actually, I almost dropped the Subject after our 3rd session due to my heavy workload during that first 3 weeks and the lack of time to go through the enormous reading and reference materials (I was drowned and overwhelmed), but I’m glad I pushed through it.
ReplyDeleteKeep going Leader Rony. There is no turning back. You can make it all the way LEADER!
DeleteYou came our victorious though and congratulations. We had the same experience because I had to read the same amount of materials to be very conversant with the syllabus. I summarized most of them for you. Leadership is a tough job... Classroom experience is nothing compared to actual Leadership challenges. You did very well. Congratulations Leader Rony
DeleteThanks Doc. for the words of encouragement, and thanks Prof. for the kind words.
DeleteThanks for promoting me as a real Healer - Doc
DeleteDacal pung salamat (Maraming Salamat) Prof Jorge! Thank you for teaching us to look deeper into ourselves, listen to our hearts, believe in our capabilities and Be Magi. The overall experience is worth it and now I understand why students from Ateneo excel in their fields. Although it ended last night, for most of us this is a starting point - we are transformed. I will detail my overall learning in my integrative paper :). Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam
ReplyDeleteThank you Leader Anne for the promise
DeleteThank you Prof. True, there were lots of sleepless nights in this course but I would be honest to say that it was all worth it. It was one of the happiest in my two years in Ateneo. This is the course where there was a lot of transformation and paradigm shift. We will miss you Prof. God bless!
ReplyDeleteThe class leaders and your stories made the class very happy and memorable. Thank you too
DeleteThanks for Prof for the wonderful experience. Lots of learning. Appreciate all your efforts to go beyond what is required.

ReplyDeleteJust got the chance to access internet. I was almost frustrated with the failure to connect the whole day yesterday until I retired. What a provider! I felt short-changed with what I paid...but what is fifty pesos for 24 hours surfing compared with the lost opportunities?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I would like to share this message to our professor and classmates:
Prof. you've been so generous of your time. I honor you for your selflessness...waking up so early to make sure you feed us new learning. My leadership was honed by your generosity. You always say that it's your job. But I think it was more of your selflessness. How easier it might have been for you to tell us to do research by ourselves. Buy your always found ways to link us to new learning opportunities.
I will miss the blog. Thanks from the bottom of my hear, Leader Master.
Had to wake up early to get the fast connection. The slow internet is really a problem. Let us support the incoming DOTC secretary Cortez level up the internet speed.
DeleteThank you so much Prof Jorge from the bottom of my heart.... Again for the challenges... The learning ... The inspiration ... Though it was a long and challenging Leadership journey it was all WORTH it. Very soon we will all be able to write our memoir and we will not forget Professor Jorge as part of our journey as AUTHENTIC LEADERS.
ReplyDeleteThanks Prof. I am lucky to have been your student for 2 subjects. I will miss this wonderful class!
