Health is wealth - bawal magkasakit

'Quamplurimi et quam aptissimi" (As many as possible of the very best)

I have heard several stories about the students health situation and that of their families:

1.  A leader from CDO was not quite happy with his joining the BOP5 because he had child sick with dengue. Where is he needed most?  At BOP5 or at the bedside of the sick child?

2.  A leader at MMLeadership at had to be absent because he too had a sick child.

3. On the same date another MM leader had to be admitted at an ER of the hospital because of an asthma attack (I hope not severe but it must have caused extreme dyspnea  -(difficulty of breathing))

4. Yesterday, a leader was absent  at SSSBOP5 leaders class because of hypertension, probably because of missing her maintenance anti hypertensive drugs and severe pressure from very tight schedule of classes (4 subjects for 3 weeks)

5.  An SSSBOP5 leader spent P10t for admission at a well known hospital in Makati for severe back pain.  According to her family doctor, a tablet of Biogesic could have been enough

Well we have to take good care of our health.   We have to take an active role in being healthy  Not just doctors or hospital. If we dont, we get poorer, and they become wealthier.

As per DOH and fmr Sec Juan Flavier, "bawal magkasakit"  Stay healthy, eat good food, exercise, avoid exposure to toxic substances.

Go to Cheap Cures

We pray that they get well soon and that they did not spend so much for getting well.

  2. Indeed! Health is wealth for we cannot deliver our purpose if we are weak and sickly. We still have a long way to go my dear BOP batch mates. So let's take good care of ourselves. Take vitamins, eat healthy foods and drink lots of water. To have enough sleep is impossible that is why bumawi na lang tayo sa kain. Take care!
