'Quamplurimi et quam aptisimi" (As many as possible of the very best)

Our intro song after the prayers last Friday was "Heal the World" by Michael Jackson. The message is loud and clear, as St. Ignatius would say, to make this world a better world. Not that we have doctors here in the class, the real healers; but there are other things we can heal as leaders. Go on and answer the call. The message of the song resonates with your paper on passion. And your AVPs... Thank you class of leaders as become more engaged healers of the world. Thanks Leader Anne for selecting this song. It aptly captures the message of Ateneo for you.as Leaders

Heal the World is one of my favorite songs. Thanks Anne for sharing...and for being ready to give way always. When I asked you to lead the opening prayer, I prevailed on you. God bless!

    1. Your Welcome Leader Belle and Prof Jorge! The song selection is also credited to Leader Dr. Suzette ;), she was the first to suggest "Heal The World". It is one of my all time favorite song next to "its a wonderful world".

This is also one of my favorite songs. In fact, I have been singing it since after our class last Friday. Na LSS ako (Last song syndrome). Let us heal our ailing world my dear fellow leaders.

  3. Heal the world is my favorite song, as I always use it during my inspirational message delivery. Maybe because I am a doctor but more so because I am an instrument of GOD for healing, not only healing illnesses physically, but also emotionally and inspiring all others to share and make a better a better world. I am so touched with the lyrics and whenever I sing it , I become emotional and cry... for help for healing and cry ....for joy when my prayers are answered. " Let's make this a better world for you and for me and the entire human race" . We must be responsible leaders for the leaders of tomorrow.... Thank you Prof Jorge for the inspiration...for the learning ... for the challenges.... It was a long and challenging journey of leadership course..of transformation ...and it was all Worth It , Sir. To GOD be the Glory

  5. I remember on the first part of the song where a girl is saying

"Think about the generations and to say we want to make it a better
world for our children and our children's children. So that they know
it's a better world for them; and think if they can make it a better
    place."

That quote and the whole song sends a very powerful message on the problems our world is facing, and the power we have to change it. This is why our advocacy should be geared toward healing the world, for the human race and its generations to come.

After all, we do not inherit this world from our ancestors, we borrow it to our children.
