Assembly and start of team building at Pancake House in Petron Marilao
We finally conducted the team building event at Prado's farm lsat November 18 to 19 2015 at Prados Farm in Lubao Pampanga (near boundary of Dinalupihan and Lubao) It took two months of planning. Those took charge of this event were Leaders Jermits (the class Prexident) Leader Maye, Richard and Catherine. Thanks to you guys. It was wise decision because it was APEC holiday, and traffic was terrible in MM.
I waited for Leader Jermits at McDo in Edsa Crossing. Leader Architect Ana later joined me and Leader Jermits arrived at 6:30 am, and in no time, we were at Petron Marilao at Pancake food outlet. All ready, leaders Leigh, Justin, and Mel were all ready there. Leaders Erika, Maye, later joined us. We started the team building there at Pancake. The two groups Magdalo and Magdiwang had a shopping list and they were supposed to post this at FB to be judged the winner. We left Petron at 9:30. We arrived at Prados Farm by 10:30. We registered paid for our booking, went to our designated rooms and had lunch at 12:00. This post advised leader Jermits to allow the participants to take a rest until 3 pm because some of them slept late and woke up early.
We resumed the team building at 3:00 pm They were supposed to post their infants pictures at post this at FB. Then we had the tower building with restrictions being imposed every 10 minutes (test of flexibility and adaptability)
Second to the last activity was the Takeshi castle competition ie the two teams will destroy the head gear of the opponets with water gun. This is a practice of offensive and defensive strategy. It was fun yet tiring though.
The last activity which was checked and reported on in the evening plenary was the engagement with the farm workers. The workers will give gold coins candies to the Leaders and those who got more will be declared the winner. There was spat as to the maxium points that will be given and/or 2 points will be given to each gold coin. The organizer later relented by making executive decision to stick to the original announcement of only having max of 20 points.
Then we had the CTA of Leaders Maricon and Richard. Leader Maricon talked about her child who is bothered by ADHD. Leader Richard talked about alleviation of poverty and nation building. Thios resonated well with the other leaders
There were plenty of prizes and awards. The winners of CTA judged by Leaders Mel and Leigh were given prizes. The prizes were courtesy of Leader Mel and this author.
The winners were:
Champion - Leader Maye Roxas
1st Runner Up - Jermits Rabonza
Anna Lee Choco
2nd Runner Up Alex Tan
Maye Gutierrez
Leader Maye gave Silver Works dog tags to the other Leaders. Silver Works is owned by her husband Louie. Louie is an MBE graduate of ACE and so with Agnes who runs the hotel and other family business in Balanga Bataan
Then we had usual fellowship: singing, some drinks (Leader Maye prepared grapes, dates, imported cheese for the leaders) We Leader Jermits, Mel, Maye, Cath closed the theater.
Kudos to all the leaders; Bravo Zulu, Job well done greetings to the organizer leaders: Jermits, Richard, Maye and Cath. Keep up the good work

It all started with a question, what will be our leadership brand? Series of questions led to several compelling thought bubbles. The aha(!) moment came after recollecting awesome discussions of the Hero Heneral Luna. The inspiration led to simple yet powerful ARTIKULOS that continue to guide the MM Leaders as we speak. These are not just 6 blah-blah anecdotes but insightful motivators. The mantra to continue self discovery, the passion to have fun, the calling to lead! Congratulations fellow leaders! I enjoyed every second we spent getting to know each other and the heroes within us. 👍
