P. S.
Leaders of Mandaue and Cebu City must strive to ease the horrendous traffic jams. It took me more than 2 hours and more than 300 php taxis to and from the airport. Traffic was bad in Mandaue due to opening of malls, unmanned traffic lights, too few roads, and many slow moving road construction
Leadership subject at AGSB is an Ateneo advantage. It emphasizes leadership from within, authentic leadership. One of its pillars is love. This is odd in a cold steely corporate world. The others are heroism, ingenuity and self awareness. The goal of leadership is not only to develop oneself but to clone other leaders. Everybody has potential to be leader. What we do, even if we do not have followers influences/affects others. It is time to define Filipino leadership too

Thank you Prof! We have learned a lot during our class.
ReplyDeleteTrue prof! Horrendous traffic jams indeed! That night, we were faced with one in Mandaue: at 10pm!
ReplyDeleteThank you for another interesting and insightful class.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the traffic. It was in the front page news last Saturday. Maybe there was not enough traffic planning done for the opening of the SM Seaside mall and the other affairs last weekend. I hope we can solve that problem when the buses operate and the LGUs strictly enforce penalty on illegally parked vehicles on the road.
There are adaptive challenges facing the enforcers and LGU executives. I hope they can be overcome. Good management of traffic indeed must be take place. Thanks for the comments
DeleteOur second session was one productive class. No time wasted. Congratulations to everyone! We sure did learn a lot :)
ReplyDeleteWe were in getting to know you mode and adjusting during the first session. Thus we had a long lunch, and others have a boat to catch. If we had the assignments ready on the first day, it would have been better. Congratulations indeed
